At issue is a High Court judgment handed down in January, which found Sitole and 2 of his lieutenants, Francinah Vuma and Leonard Tsumane, “breached their duties” in failing to co-operate with IPID, as the cop watchdog probed a string of dodgy deals. The declaratory order is the basis of a looming inquiry into Sitole’s fitness to hold office.
