SA receives first consignment of Pfizer covid-19 vaccines from US government

The acting Health Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi says the close to 3-million doses of Covid-19 vaccine, received from the United States over the weekend, will significantly boost South Africa’s vaccination capabilities.

Kubayi over the weekend took receipt of 2.8-million Pfizer vaccine doses at the OR Tambo International Airport.

The Minister says a further 5.6-million doses will be delivered tomorrow.
