The Department of Basic Education (DBE) has urged teachers to get themselves vaccinated.
With the vaccination of teachers coming to an end this week, teachers and other school-support staff have been urged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
The DBE spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga says more than 333-thousand teachers and school-support staff have already been vaccinated with their one-dose Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine.
Mhlanga says the aim is to vaccinate more than 582-thousand employees in the sector, by the end of the vaccination-drive.
