The Department of Health says it is readying all of its systems to start vaccinating public-service employees at the country’s correctional services facilities.
Acting Health Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane says a date for these vaccinations has not yet been confirmed.
She says this leg of the country’s vaccination-drive may be rolled out at the same time as that of police officers.
The Minister says SANDF-members would also start receiving their jabs on 5 July.
