The WCED has welcomed the announcement by the Minister of Basic Education that the rollout of the Johnson & Johnson single dose COVID-19 vaccine for all education sector staff will begin this week.

MEC Debbie Schafer says vaccines are a vital tool in the fight against Covid-19. At the same time, the WCED is finalizing plans for the rollout and will be communicating with schools today. Head of communications, Bronagh Hammond says 29 sites have been identified across the Province.
