The Western Cape had, by Friday afternoon, vaccinated more than 321-thousand of its residents against Covid-19.

Of these, more than 91-thousand health workers have already been vaccinated.

Close to 230-thousand residents, 60 years and older, have already received one dose of their two-dose Pfizer vaccine.

Phase 1a & b (healthcare workers) = 91 732 + Phase 2 (over 60s) = 229 667.
