The Western Cape Health Department has confirmed that it has, to date, vaccinated more than 130 thousand Western Cape residents against Covid-19.

Since the start of Phase 2 of the country’s vaccination program, 37 179 pensioners and healthcare workers have already received one dose of their Pfizer injection.

Together with the more than 93-thousand people (who were vaccinated with the J&J vaccine) the Western Cape’s total vaccinations now stand at 130 332.

Nationwide, more than 828-thousand people have already received one dose of their Pfizer vaccine.
