The Western Cape reported 6 more Covid-19 related deaths over the past 24-hour monitoring period, with the provincial death toll rising to 11 809.

This was the country’s fourth highest death toll (on Sunday) with the North West recording the most Covid-19 deaths (44 deaths in total).

Gauteng reported 17 deaths, and the Free State reported 8 deaths.
