The provincial health department says the start of the third wave of covid-19 should be delayed as much as possible.

With increases in cases reported in various provinces, as well as the Western Cape and with the Free State currently experiencing its third wave, there’s concern about the rising cases, but the country is not yet, in its third wave. The provincial head of health, Dr Keith Cloete says there is a flare-up of infections locally, but increased vigilance is urgently needed to address the situation.
