South African National Parks has again reminded locals and tourists that some areas of the Table Mountain National Park is still undergoing rehabilitation and will be off limits until further notice.
This, after the massive run-away fires in April, destroyed hundreds of hectares of indigenous forest and natural habitat.
SANParks Western Cape spokes-person, Babalwa Dlangamandla urges visitors to be patient.
Dlangamandla says the area around the Rhodes Memorial and Deer Park are also still being rehabilitated.
"SANParks wishes to thank the members of the public for the ongoing support and will continue to provide updates on progress made as information becomes available and we would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time…" concludes Van Rooyen. pic.twitter.com/qLVpvEwun8
