The department of health says 11 more people have died of covid-19 related illnesses, in the country, over the latest 24-hour monitoring period.

This takes the death toll to 54 735. At the same time, 1 778 new cases of the virus have been reported over the same 24-hour cycle. On the vaccine front, more than 382 000 healthcare workers have now been vaccinated.
