Ramaphosa urges sharing of vaccine-technologies

Published on

President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged pharmaceutical companies to start making their Covid-19 vaccine technologies available to other countries to allow more nations to start manufacturing their own vaccines.

Ramaphosa participated in the Friends of Multilateralism’s Round-table this week, focused on the work of the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response.

He says making the technologies and vaccine-formulae available holds many benefits for all people across the World.

He says African countries have the necessary man-power to start producing their own vaccines.
