Tourism Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane says her Department is now working closer with the country’s regional neighbours to encourage international visitors to again make Southern African countries their holiday-destinations of choice.

The Minister engaged with industry role-players this week and says that many overseas visitors are still hesitant to visit the region, out of fears of contracting Covid-19.

She says it is hoped that visitor-numbers would see a marked increase towards the end of the year.
