The minister of health, dr Zweli Mkhize says 55 Covid-19 related deaths have been confirmed, taking the national number of fatalities to 52 251. Four of the 55 deaths were in the Western Cape. By 6.30pm last night, more than 194 000 health-care workers have been vaccinated.
