S.A.’s P.P.E production significantly boosted over the last year

Published on

South African producers have been able to rise to the challenge, ramping up their production-output, to ensure that sufficient P.P.E and other products were manufactured locally to be used in the country’s fight against Covid-19.

This, according to Trade and Industry Minister, Ebrahim Patel who yesterday participated in the 9th annual Proudly South African Buy Local Summit & Expo.

He says local manufacturers have shown great resilience over the past year to ensure that South Africa overcomes the product-shortages that were brought about by the closure of international borders.
