The Western Cape head of Health, Dr. Keith Cloete says the province will use all the knowledge it learned in the second Covid-19 wave to prepare the health system for the expected third wave.

Cloete took part in Premier Alan Winde’s weekly digicon this week and says all indicators show that the province has finally reached the end of the second Covid-19 wave.

Cloete says hospitalizations, deaths, the levels of oxygen-consumption and the positive test-rate in the province have decreased significantly.
