The Democratic Alliance has called for Police Minister Bheki Cele along with the National Police Commissioner Khehla Sithole to urgently appear before Parliament to account for failing to keep South Africans safe. The party was reacting to the latest crime statistics which saw murders increase by over 6-percent. In the period between October and December last year, more than 6-thousand 200 people were killed across the country.
