President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged the private sector to assist African governments to purchase and distribute vaccines. Ramaphosa, in his capacity as AU-head during the African covid-19 Vaccine Webinar said because of the high cost of vaccines, many African countries will struggle to fully roll-out vaccination campaigns. He thanked mobile-giant, MTN, for donating R25-million, which will be used to vaccinate healthcare workers across the continent.
