And… England’s deputy chief medical officer Jonathan Van-Tam has hailed the Pfizer vaccine approval but says “we have to take it really carefully”. He is hopeful the Oxford vaccine will be approved for UK use by Christmas. Professor Van-Tam reiterated that pregnant women should not take the vaccine.
