The SA Institute for Drug Free Sport this morning confirmed that former Springboks hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle has lost his appeal against an eight-year doping ban. The SAIDS says the Independent Appeal Panel upheld the original sanction of eight years, and Ralepelle’s last resort is now the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland. Ralepelle tested positive for the banned anabolic agent‚ Zeranol‚ during a Sharks rugby training session in January of 2019.
