Iconic Whale Trail Reopened!

The Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs has welcomed the news that the iconic Whale Trail has been reopened.

Managed by Cape Nature, the trail was closed in late 2018, to construct safety upgrades and add new infrastructure along the popular hiking route.

The spokesperson for MEC Anton Bredell, James-Brent Styan, says the hiking-trail is one of the most meaningful ways to experience whale-watching in the Western Cape.
