The Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan says the new, reformed South African Airways could take to the skies in as early as the first half of next year. The Minister says Government will partner with the private sector, to launch the new SAA, in 2021. Finance Minister Tito Mboweni yesterday announced the allocation of R10.5-billion to the national carrier, saying the funds will be used to implement SAA’s business rescue plan.
