The Western Cape Department of Local Government says 18 of the province’s 30 municipalities have been given clean audits by the office of the Auditor General for the 2019-2020 financial year.

MEC Anton Bredell says 90% of Western Cape municipalities received either clean or unqualified audits.

These include the municipalities of Stellenbosch, Mossel Bay, Cape Agulhas and Prince Albert.
