18 of the Western Cape’s 30 municipalities given clean audits by the Auditor General

The Western Cape Department of Local Government says 18 of the province’s 30 municipalities have been given clean audits by the office of the Auditor General for the 2019-2020 financial year.

MEC Anton Bredell says 90% of Western Cape municipalities received either clean or unqualified audits.

These include the municipalities of Stellenbosch, Mossel Bay, Cape Agulhas and Prince Albert.
