East London’s Gugulethu Ndzendze’s powerful performance has tugged at heartstrings and even caught the attention of President Cyril Ramaphosa. The Grade 3 pupil at Voorpos Primary School will now sing for the president during the opening at next year’s State of The Nation Address.
