Premier Alan Winde says the Western Cape is pushing to vaccinate at least a thousand of its health-care workers, per day.
He says this will ensure the vaccine is rolled out faster among the province’s front-line workers.
Winde says national Government allocated the province 13,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine.
Winde says with healthcare workers are being vaccinated at the Groote Schuur, Tygerberg and Khayelitsha-hospitals.
