Western Cape residents get another chance to be counted in Census 2022

Households in the Western Cape that have not yet been counted in Census 2022 have yet another opportunity to do so, to ensure the province receives its fair share of the national budget. Statistics South Africa has again extended the deadline for residents in the province, until the 31st of May. Western Cape Manager for Stats SA, Patrick Kelly says counted household numbers jumped from 49% just before the Easter weekend to 70% last week
