Western Cape Police Offer R100,000 Reward for Alleged Taxi-Hitman

Western Cape police are offering a reward of up to R100,000 for information leading to the arrest of Vuyo Tshukela, also known as “Yesu,” who is wanted in connection with a series of taxi-related murders.

 

A warrant of arrest has been issued for Tshukela, who remains at large.

 

Authorities have linked him to at least four murders carried out in Philippi East and Nyanga in August 2024, as well as killings in Nyanga and Delft in September 2024.

 

Police have urged the public to assist in locating Tshukela.

 

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Lieutenant Colonel Julian Tarentaal at 082 559 4645 or Captain Lukhanyo Magadla at 082 411 3245.

 

Alternatively, tips can be submitted anonymously by calling Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or through the MySAPS mobile application.

 

Authorities have circulated a photo of the suspect in the hope of tracking him down.
