Western Cape Education MEC Debbie Schafer has expressed her shock at the fatal shooting of a school teacher at Heinz Park Primary School this morning

The 53 year old man was still in his car which was in the parking area at the school when he was shot and killed.

No arrests have yet been made but Schafer says they are hopefully that the police investigation will be successful.

Police are searching for two armed suspects.
