Western Cape daily Covid-19 death toll showing a decline

The Western Cape Covid-19 average daily death-toll has decreased to around 35 deaths per day.

The figure, a few weeks ago, stood at around 150 fatalities per day.

The province’s Covid-related death toll, has since last week Thursday, increased by 67 fatalities and now stands at 19,688.

There are currently 1,957 patients in hospital for Covid-complications.

418 of these patients are in ICU.
