Western Cape Covid-19 death toll increases to 19,800

The Western Cape has, since yesterday afternoon, reported only 8 Covid-19 related deaths.

The province’s Covid-related death toll now stands at 19,800.

More than 1,850 patients are currently in hospital for Covid-related complications.

399 patients are in high care units.
