Western Cape Covid-19 death toll increases to 15,843

The Western Cape Covid-19 death toll has increased by a further 104 fatalities, over the past 24 hours.

The province’s death toll has risen to 15,843.

The Western Cape currently reports an average of 108 Covid-related fatalities per day.

More than 3,600 are currently in hospital, with 724 residents in intensive care, with Covid-19 complications.

To date, the Western Cape government has administered more than 1.28-million doses of vaccine.
