Western Cape covid-19 death toll increases to 13 530

The Western Cape Department of Health says the province’s Covid-19 death toll has now increased to an average of 67 deaths per day.

According to the department, this figure is expected to increase drastically as the Western Cape approaches the peak of the third wave.

71 Covid-19 deaths were reported here yesterday, with the province’s death toll now increasing to 13 530.
