Western Cape close to reaching peak of third Covid-19 wave

With the Western Cape reporting in excess of 2-thousand new covid-19 infections per day, the province is about 2 to 3 weeks away from reaching the peak of its third Covid-19 wave.

This, according to the province’s Head Of Health, Dr Keith Cloete who outlined the province’s current covid-19 situation in this week’s digicon.

He says the province has now seen a 13-percent increase in cases, on a week-on-week basis.
