This winter, Smile FM is putting together Cape Town’s ultimate all-cover band.
Not from music schools or professional studios — but from real people with real stories. People who never stopped loving music, even when they had to stop playing it.

Over 12 weeks, we’ll find the hidden talent in this city.
We’ll audition guitarists, drummers, vocalists, bassists, keyboard players — even that guy who absolutely shreds on the triangle. Every week on the Ryan O’Connor Breakfast Show, a new member will be chosen. Piece by piece, the band Cape Town builds together will come alive.
