WC shows Ramaphosa how to fix failing municipalities

Local Government MEC Anton Bredell says the provincial government has sent a set of proposals to President Cyril Ramaphosa, on how to fix failing municipalities across the country. Bredell spoke during a sitting of the Western Cape Parliament yesterday, with members from all parties discussing the state of municipalities in the province. Bredell says of the 30 municipalities in the Western Cape, only 3 are not able to manage their own finances properly – and all 3 fall under the ANC.
