WC Municipalities getting ready for winter rains

The Western Cape Department of Local Government says municipalities, across the province, are now readying themselves for the upcoming winter-season.

Spokesperson for MEC Anton Bredell, James-Brent Styan says operations have been launched to clear storm water systems and canals in flood-prone areas.

He urges resident to assist authorities in these clean-op operations.
