Published on

The province’s official tourism, trade and investment promotion agency, Wesgro, has embarked on a ‘cheeky’ campaign to lure citizens from Gauteng and KZN, to move to Cape Town, to work remotely.

Wesgro says the objective is to entice people from around the country to visit the Mother City as a remote worker.

Wesgro’s CEO, Wrenelle Stander says they want to lure those citizens from up country by showing them just how easy it is to work from the province.

It showcases the strong tech eco-system, co-working spaces, connectivity and ease of doing business.
