WATCH: President Cyril Ramaphosa meets Donald Trump

President Cyril Ramaphosa will engage US President Donald Trump in a highly anticipated meeting this afternoon.

 

It has been confirmed that golfing greats, Ernie Els and Retief Goosen is part of Ramaphosa’s South African delegation.

 

South Africa’s richest man, Johann Rupert is also part of the President’s team.

 

Rupert told the media that Ernie Els was instrumental in convincing Trump, a keen golfer himself, to meet with Ramaphosa.

 

Ramaphosa will hold a bilateral meeting with Trump at around 18h45 this evening, which will include interactions with the media.

President Ramaphosa is scheduled to meet with President Trump at 11h30 EDT (17h30 SAST) at the White House, in Washington DC.
