Doctor Siyamak Saleh is South Africa’s first health practitioner to get his account verified on TikTok. Initially he joined the app to have fun with his child but soon it turned a platform for his passion – educating the world about medical issues and busting myths in the medical world. Today he has over 740K followers on the social media platform.

As a friend of Smile Breakfast, Dr Saleh joined Bobby & Lindy to talk about the Coronavirus vaccine that he recently got and also spoke about some of the work that went into getting all the vaccines ready.

Dr Saleh also spoke about the hesitation people have about taking the vaccine because of the speed at which it was developed.
