The Western Cape Transport MEC, Bonginkozi Madikizela, has called on all taxi-industry role-players, to get ready for, and to participate in the upcoming Western Cape Taxi Lekgotla.
The Lekgotla is scheduled to take place in Worcester and Cape Town, on 14 and 15 October.
Madikizela says the gathering will focus on addressing the on-going taxi-violence and related murders in the province.
He says a solution must be found urgently, to prevent further loss of lives.
