The country’s vaccine roll-out campaign has received a further boost, after a cash-injection of US$ 3-million by the United States this week.

This, according to the US Agency for International Development, who said the donation would be used to support vaccine distribution, field hospitals, and data surveillance here in South Africa.

Senior Communications Officer at US-AID, Victoria Stofberg says the US has, to date, contributed more than R 785-million to South Africa, to help fight the virus.
