The Unemployment Insurance Fund says it is now embarking on a nation-wide campaign to audit all companies that received Covid-19 Relief Scheme Funds.
The Fund says a team of auditors have been appointed to start the tracing of all paid-out funds.
Director of Communication at the UIF, Makhosonke Buthelezi, says the campaign aims to also recover funds, fraudulently paid out to companies.
Buthelezi says they also want to ascertain if the relief funds reached intended beneficiaries.
