South African music sensation Tyla is heading home as part of her first-ever global headline tour, with concerts scheduled for Cape Town and Johannesburg in January 2027.

The two-time Grammy Award winner announced The A*POP World Tour on Monday in support of her newly released second studio album, APOP*, which debuted on July 24.

The 34-date tour will see Tyla perform across Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Africa, marking the biggest international tour of her career.

The South African leg begins at Green Point Track in Cape Town on Monday, January 4, before moving to the Expo Centre, Nasrec, in Johannesburg on Saturday, January 9.

The global tour kicks off in Paris on October 12 before travelling through cities including London, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Berlin.

North American performances begin in November, with shows in Chicago, Boston, Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, before Tyla heads to Lagos, Nigeria, and then South Africa.

The tour follows her successful We Wanna Party Tour in 2025, which included sold-out performances in Asia and South Africa.

Tickets for the South African shows go on sale in stages, with an artist presale opening on Wednesday, July 29 at 10am, followed by the general sale from Friday, July 31 at 10am.

General admission tickets are priced at R895, while Golden Circle tickets cost R1,695 for both Cape Town and Johannesburg. Fans are limited to four tickets per purchase.

The concerts are open to attendees aged six and older, although children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Access to the Golden Circle standing area is restricted to concertgoers aged 12 and older who are at least 1.2 metres tall.

The announcement comes just days after the release of APOP*, Tyla’s 14-track sophomore album featuring songs including “CHANEL,” “IS IT LOVE,” “SHE DID IT AGAIN,” and “IS IT LOVE?”.
