Twins of Comedy review

Published on

Twins of Comedy review: It’s October and the end of the year is still a couple of weeks away. But who would say no to a couple of laughs, especially belly laughs?

Life is tough at the moment, on all fronts. There are challenges on the financial and economic front and then elsewhere in the world, in some countries, there’s military operations.

Twins of Comedy review

I was on the hunt for some laughter and that’s how I ended up at the Media Evening for Twins of Comedy at the Artscape Theatre. It really was double the fun and double the laughter, with the comedic duo, Lunga Tshuka & Phil De Lange.

Double trouble.

It was my first time seeing Lunga from Mitchell’s Plain perform on stage and I enjoyed his comedy, to which I had never been exposed.

The last time I saw Phil in action was at Destiny in the CBD and with his Artscape performance, he has added even more funny moments to his expanding repertoire.

Birthday Special Show

The 2 comics share a birthday on the same day.

Phil de Lange has been gracing the South African comedy scene since 2013, with his unique blend of stand-up and ukulele playing. His comedic style is a delightful combination of awkwardness, self-deprecation, and tongue-in-cheek humour. He also boasts a prestigious South African Savanna Comics’ Choice Award in the ‘Next Level’ category. Internationally he has graced stages in Germany and Thailand.

Lunga Tshuka is known as ‘The Energizer Funny’. He’s an all-around entertainer, a physical comedian and a humanitarian. He has embraced humour to bring joy to people’s lives.

Double trouble.

If you are looking for an evening out with friends or loved ones and want to exercise your tummy muscles, this show is it 🙂
