With Tourism Month that officially kicked off on Wednesday the Mother City is ready to receive both domestic and international visitors this summer holidays.

The City’s Directorate of Economic Opportunities, this week launched its strategy for the 2021/2022 tourism-season under the theme ‘Tourism for inclusive growth’.

Mayco member, James Vos says the aim is to also urge locals to encourage tourists to make the Mother City their holiday destination of choice.

He says locals will also be assisted to start their own tourism enterprises.
