Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says these citizens were invited to receive their vaccine by SMS last night. The South African government is aiming to vaccinate 5 million citizens older than 60 by the end of June.

274 public vaccination sites will be opened in a phased approach, followed by private sector sites in the coming weeks.
