There can be no more confusion on the legality of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s National Coronavirus Command Council – it is lawful and constitutional. This was ruling of the Supreme Court of Appeal which has dismissed an application by a group of concerned residents in Cape Town, who challenged the lawfulness of the establishment of the NCCC and validity of the lockdown rules.
