There are currently 202 380 active corona-virus cases in South Africa, with the most active cases occurring in KwaZulu-Natal, more than 64 000 cases, Gauteng, more than 45 000 & the Western Cape, more than 40 000. North West (13 652) and the Free State (10 064) are the only other provinces with more than 10 000 active cases. The death toll is at 37 105.
