The Western Cape’s Covid-19 vaccination figure has risen to close to 590-thousand vaccinations.

By 5 p.m., Friday afternoon, more than 497-thousand residents, over the age of 60, had already been vaccinated.

Pensioners here, and across the rest of the country, are being vaccinated with the two-dose Pfizer vaccine.

The province’s Covid-19 vaccination rate now stands at 589 022 injections.
