The Western Cape has reported only 3 Covid-19 related deaths over the past 24-hour monitoring period, with the province’s Covid-19 death toll now rising to 11 626.

By 5 o’clock on Friday afternoon, more than 56-thousand Western Cape medical workers had already been vaccinated against the virus. According to the Western Cape Health Department, 56 447 health care workers have already received their injection.
